This will be a hands on session held in HB17 of Head Hall.

9 am till 1 pm.

Instructor - Dr. Ghislain Deslongchamps is Professor in the Department of Chemistry
here at the University of New Brunswick. He is very active in the area of visualization in science and education. Labeling himself "a closet developer", he has been au
thoring Flash-based interactive chemistry courseware for over five years.

Overview - In Web-based teaching and learning there is often a need to incorporate more elaborate multimedia. Macromedia Flash has emerged as the standard for creating such web-accessible content. This workshop will consist of a hands-on introduction to Flash. Topics will include the Flash authoring environment, basic graphics, animation, interactivity, and publishing.
Breakfast, Lunch and nutrition breaks are provided.
