NAWeb99: What Works and Why

The Fifth International Conference on Web-Based Learning
CONFERENCE IS FULL

October 2-5, 1999

Sponsored by the University of New Brunswick and the WWW Courseware Developers.

Paper
A full paper is required for inclusion in the online and print proceedings. A template will be provided to authors after the tentative acceptance of abstracts. It is very important to use the template for final paper submissions. Authors who desire an interactive presentation or other unusual content are encouraged to publish that content in an alternate location and supply a link to that content within the full paper.

Presentation
All papers are published online in advance of the conference. Conference delegates will have the opportunity to have read your paper before attending your presentation. The presentation itself, 30 minutes in length, should include the following:

  • A very brief (5 minutes or so) summary/overview of your paper.
  • Elaboration, explanation, and/or demonstration of any online applications related to your paper.
  • Updates: Anything that has changed since publication of your paper.
  • Plenty of time for questions and answers (at least 10 minutes, preferably more).
