Robert Cailliau, CERN: As co-inventor of the WWW, Robert witnessed the entire scene of the human-web relationship, Robert will highlight the positive aspects of that "great change" but also point out some of the needs and issues that must be addressed at the beginning of the new century.
Bebo White, SLAC: Bebo has been involved with the development of the Web since its conception. In his talk Bebo will anecdotally reflect upon Webmastering for the past eight years, how the Webmaster role has matured and how it will continue to evolve in the future.
NAWeb99: What Works and Why will focus on practical applications of World Wide Web technologies to promote learning, extending the reach of existing campuses and using the Web as a valid and viable educational tool.
