NAWeb99: What Works and Why

The Fifth International Conference on Web-Based Learning
October 2-5, 1999

Sponsored by the University of New Brunswick and the WWW Courseware Developers.

Call for Posters/Demonstrations

This session is relatively new to NAWeb and is aimed at allowing delegates to present reports on works-in-progress, demonstrate courseware tools under development or outline the preliminary results of surveys or projects recently completed. It's intended to be the late breaking news section of the conference.

If you are interested please email your proposal to Allan Ellis (include a title and a 200-300 word summary of the sessions you wish to present). If accepted you will be asked to immediately prepare and submit a 2 to 3 page summary for publication on the conference website and in the conference print proceedings (subject to printing deadlines). The print deadline is September 15th. Submissions will be accepted up Friday 24th September, but those received after the print deadline will not appear in the NAWeb Proceedings. Presentation spaces are limited and will be filled in order of receipt and approval of the initial proposal. All presenters must registered for the conference.

The poster/demonstration session has been planned for Tuesday morning. Tables with display areas (tape for wall displays or pins for display boards will be provided)/ Power will be provided, however at this stage we cannot provide network connectivity so you need to download and run files from HD if live presentations are required.
